Hi Everyone (AKA official CLUB ACCT11059 Groovers!)

I am delighted to be able to share my journey with you all as I embark into the Totally Jazzy world of Accounting, Learning and Online Communication!

Over the next 12 weeks or so I am looking forward to joining with all you other Kool Kats out there in the Blogosphere taking center stage as headline act for CQUniversity’s gig of a lifetime: CLUB ACCT11059!

Now, I know that whatever happens on tour is supposed to stay on tour … but this time Groovers it’s going to be a completely different kettle of semiquavers!  I am planning to unleash on my unsuspecting audience (sorry, yes, that would be you) a Nickelback-sized tour bus full of tall tales, urban myths and maybe just a few secrets about my performance and experience at this concert (AKA “my learning journey”).

Language warning

Did I forget to mention on my “About” page that I am somewhat of an ageing rock chick?  This should go some way towards providing foundational reasoning (take a 3 hour nap before clicking this link) for the painfully retro language used on this blog site (and the level of “cheese-y-ness” ).  I apologise in advance if this might cause some of you to gag slightly.

So without further ado I present to you the smooth sounds of …

Robbie T’s CLUB ACCT11059

I look forward to hanging out in da-club witchu’all (huh?) as we get down and funky putting our best tunes forward with Accounting, Learning and Online Communication!

Cheers, Robbie T

  1. Hi Robbie,
Wow, your blog looks amazing! You seem to be super comfortable sharing yourself with the world! Hopefully, with practice, I can be as confident with my blogging as you are with yours!
    Have a great term,

    Bree

    1. Hi Bree, thanks for your positive comments, it is heartening to know that I am on the right track given my complete lack of experience in the blogging arena! Good luck with your studies and I look forward to collaborating with you in this unit. Cheers, Robbie T

  2. I love the layout of you blog. I have only dipped my toe and feel so out of my league here. I am still trying to figure out the layout of mine. I enjoyed reading yours. Look forward to more.

  4. Hi Robbie,
I picked your blog in my top 3. Here is what I wrote. Love reading your work.
Such enthusiasm…. it beams from Robbie’s blog. I love that she is so open and feels comfortable to share. I love how she relates to music in her introduction, yes we are all on tour with her, but my guess is for some of us (well me, it still feels as though, I’ve missed the bus). This by far is the BEST blog, it is easy to read and the personal touches make you visualise her playing the drums and annoying her neighbours.

    1. Hi Jenna, thank you very much for your vote of confidence, it is greatly appreciated. As a first time blogger I was extremely under-confident with my skills but the more I did it the more I felt comfortable with it. It is always the fear of the unknown that holds us back so thank you again for your support and I look forward to collaborating further with you this term. Cheers, Robbie T

  5. Hey Robbie!

I am here to let you know as many before me have, I think your blog is simply boombastic! You are the Beyoncé of the blogging world. Well done on your chart topping blog. Love love love it. (Tried as best as I could, but I should have left it to you.) 🙂

  6. Hi Dearnne, thank you so much for your comment. I think I might have some competition here 🙂 I love the “Beyoncé of the blogging world” tag – that’s really cool although I think its probably a bit too soon to bestow that kind of crown on me – I may not be able to live up to it! Well, at least I have topped the charts in some fashion even if its not with a hit single, thank you 🙂 Cheers, Robbie T
